Geez this shot still scares the bejeezaz out of me ever since I watched it when I was young. It scares me to think that there are hundreds to thousands of meters below you that you cannot see, but anything can be there. More so if you’re also surrounded by nothing.

Why?
Why do people have to be so selfish? Why can’t they stop thinking about themselves for a single moment and put their feet on somebody else’s shoes for a moment? Why can’t they see the world from someone else’s perspective for a change? Why do they allow their better judgement to be clouded by illusions? Why?
